Pu-Erh Tea Brick

This handmade compressed Pu-Erh tea brick is cultivated to order for TWG Tea in a traditional manner, thanks to an exciting
collaboration between TWG Tea and the celebrated Meng Hai tea garden on the misty hillsides of the mountains of Yunnan– the
most prestigious in the Pu-Erh prefecture. After selecting the finest grade of loose tea leaves, TWG Tea innovators oversaw the
ageing process of the tea, which is shaped and pressed into unique, densely compacted disks of large sundried leaves. After two
years of maturation, the resulting aged tea leaves must be pried off before they can be infused into a rich and intense cup that
boasts an earthy flavour and aroma. Renowned for its refreshing and tonic attributes, this Pu-Erh has the unique particularity of
improving with age.
